Accessibility for wheelchair users
At the valley station of the Plose cable car there is a large visitor car park with two reserved spaces for disabled passengers. The barrier-free entrance and checkout area can be reached via a level access path, as can the barrier-free toilet. There are also two restaurants with level access at the valley station. For boarding the gondola cabins, the facility will be slowed down or stopped as necessary for passengers in wheelchairs. The experienced staff offers assistance in overcoming the height difference between the floor and the cabin (approx. 35 cm). The cabin door and the inside cabin have a clear width of 58 cm. Wheelchairs should therefore not exceed this width. At the mountain station of the cable car, you exit in the same way as you entered. There is a barrier-free toilet in the exit area of the mountain station. The adjoining restaurant with sun terrace can be reached via a ramp with a gradient of 15%. The cable car Pfannspitze – which went into operation in 2016 – offers wheelchair users the possibility to roll into the panorama gondola at ground level. The passage width in the cabins is 82 cm.
Dogs
Dogs are transported free of charge. The regulations for dog owners valid in Italy apply.
Guest Parking
The parking spaces at the valley station of the Plose cable car are free for cable car guests. Additional parking lots are located in Palmschoss and in Skihütte. They are smaller and also free. Camping in car parks is not allowed in Italy.
