Mountain carting in the hiking area Plose/Brixen is one of the absolute holiday highlights for most people. When you dash down the 9 km track into the valley, you will soon notice that not only children are rejoicing …!
Mountain bike
Your biker heart will skip a beat – and not just because the air gets thinner at 2,000 m above sea level. The five fantastic lines in the Brixen Bike Park are for real adventurers, while the fantastic views of the Dolomites along the easier bike routes inspire those looking for a more leisurely experience. Of course, there are also cool camps and bike tours in the area.
Plose Looping
Would you like to truly feel your life force pumping through your veins? The Plose Looping, The Eye of the Dolomites, is located directly at the mountain station of the Plose gondola lift. Take courage, buckle up, pedal hard and finally do what is probably the highest loop in the world. The audience will love you! Photos or videos are a must.
Plosebob
In secure bobsleds, you race down a rail-guided track, descending 147 meters in altitude. The launch catapult propels “heroes” to 50 km/h in just 1.2 seconds, while thrilling curves provide the ultimate adrenaline rush. Experience pure adrenaline with the Plosebob!

The alpine lodge ban rutzner is located just 100 meters above the PLOSE valley station, surrounded by the hiking, skiing and tobogganing area Mount Plose. Relaxation, great food, a pleasant ambiance and a playground for kids are just a few of the highlights at the ban rutzner. Rosi and Andi will pamper your taste buds with home-made, typical South Tyrolean dishes, such as “Schlutzkrapfen” (ravioli filled with spinach), dumplings or the Trametsch burger made from local beef.

The traditional alpine hut is located on a vast clearing at 1,700 m above sea level. If you are looking for peace, this is the place for you! The hut can be reached from the Ackerboden car park in 1 hour, in summer also via the Brixen Altitude Trail in 3 hours.
