Circular hiking trail Lorggen

The circular hiking trail is a treasure trove of experiences and the ideal choice for every family hiking day. From kissing the summit to a ride on the panorama gondola lift, from surprising play and rest areas to secret places of power. And there’s more: If you walk the trail counter clockwise, you’ll walk almost always downwards.

Directions

From the mountain station of the Plose gondola lift on the WoodyWalk (marking 17) on a level trail over alpine pastures to the southeast. At the turn-off to Skihütte, trail no. 17C first descends slightly into the forest and then on a level course to the valley station of the gondola lift Pfannspitze. On this itinerary there are many stations that invite you to play and rest.

The gondola lift Pfannspitze will take you up the mountain in 5 minutes. The gondola lift is closed during lunch hour.

From the mountain station of the Pfannspitze gondola lift, path no. 7 leads past the hut of the same name into the Lüsner Scharte and then back up to the lodge Plosehütte. From there, finally back to the starting point of the tour, either remaining on path no. 7 or on the way on path no. 3 over the Schönjöchl, which once again offers magnificent views.

Important: For hikes in the mountains you need proper equipment. Always wear sturdy shoes with non-slip soles, and bring rain protection, a warm jacket, even in summer, and plenty of water with you. Hiking at your own risk.

Directions

From the mountain station of the Plose gondola lift, the path leads briefly along the Bressanone Altitude Trail no. 30 to the junction of the trails 3/7. Marking no. 7, the path runs along the slope of Schönjöchl to the saddle of the same name and further over the wide ridge to the lodge Plosehütte at 2447 m.

From the Plosehütte, follow path no. 7 down into the Lüsner Scharte and then up to the Pfannspitzhütte and immediately afterwards to the Pfannspitze gondola lift, which takes you down into the valley. The gondola lift is closed during lunch hour.

You can return to the starting point via hiking trails no. 17C and 17.
