Racing fun for the entire family! After a day of hiking or first thing in the morning – the Mountaincarts are definitely an absolute highlight. The start is at the mountain station of the Plose gondola lift, the finish is 1,000 m below at the valley station. In between, the wind whistles around your ears along unbelievable 9 km!

Height & Age
- Children from 3 years old may ride on the lap of an adult.
- From age 12 or a minimum height of 150 cm, children may ride alone.
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

07.09 – 04.10.2026: 10:00 – 16:45 - Operating days:
June, September & October: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
July & August: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
10 – 16 August: every day
- In case of rain, snow, or thunderstorms, the Mountaincarts may be temporarily closed.
- During high demand towards the end of the day, availability may not be guaranteed until closing time.
Rental
- The rental of the carts is located at the Infoshop at the mountain station of the Plose gondola lift.
- Use of the carts is at your own risk.

Helmets & Footwear
- A helmet is provided with each Mountaincart.
- Please wear appropriate footwear (sandals are not permitted).

YOUR MOUNTAINCART TICKET
Tickets can be purchased at the
Infoshop located at the top station
of the Plose gondola lift.

Start Mountaincart before 13 noon: € 18.00
Start Mountaincart after 13 noon: € 23.00
HOW IT WORKS
1. Buy your lift ticket
Purchase your ticket for the Plose gondola lift
online or directly at the valley station.
2. Reserve your time slot
After arriving at the mountain station, visit the
check-in desk at the Infoshop and reserve your
preferred time slot for the Mountaincart ride down.
3. Buy your Mountaincart ticket
Then proceed to the ticket counter to purchase
your Mountaincart ticket.
4. Collect your Mountaincart
Arrive at the reserved time at the Mountaincart
starting point next to the mountain station. There
you will receive your Mountaincart, a helmet, and
the safety briefing.
Note: Children up to 150 cm (4 ft 11 in) tall who
ride on an adult’s lap do not need their own
Mountaincart ticket.

From the top station of the Plose gondola, a 9-kilometre downhill adventure takes you all the way to the valley station. Pick up speed, take on the curves and enjoy
the thrill of the ride. With no engine and powerful brakes, the Mountaincarts put you in control from start to finish – for an action-packed descent and pure fun.
