Where is Plose located?
Plose is located above Bressanone, in South Tyrol. The valley station of the Plose gondola lift is situated in Sant'Andrea, about seven kilometers from the center of Bressanone.
How high is the Plose?
The Plose gondola lift takes you from Sant’Andrea to the top station at an altitude of 2,050 meters. The highest point of the Plose massif is the Gabler, at 2,576 meters.
How do I get from Bressanone to Plose?
The valley station of the Plose gondola lift is accessible by car and public transport. During the season, buses regularly connect Bressanone to Sant’Andrea.
Is there a parking at the valley station?
Yes. Free parking is available at the valley station of the Plose gondola lift. Motorhomes may park there during the day; however, the parking areas are not equipped for camping or overnight stays. There are no charging stations for electric vehicles. On weekends, public holidays, and days with high visitor numbers, we recommend arriving early or using public transport.
When is Plose open?
Plose is open in both summer and winter. Opening dates and times vary depending on the specific lift and the season. You can check the status of the lifts on the website at any time.
Where can I see which lifts are open?
You can check the status of ski lifts, slopes, trails, and activities on the Plose website. Thunderstorms, wind, or technical issues may result in last-minute changes.
May I buy Plose tickets online?
Yes, many tickets can be purchased in advance from the Plose online shop. This saves time at the ticket counter and allows you to better plan your visit. Alternatively, tickets are available from self-service kiosks and staffed ticket counters on-site.
Are family tickets available?
Family tickets and rates are available for various Plose offers. You can find current offers, prices, and age limits in the price list.
May I use the lifts for free with the Brixen Südtirol Guest Pass?
With the Brixen Südtirol Guest Pass, you can enjoy one free round trip on each of the Plose lifts during the summer, specifically from May 23 to July 10, 2026, and from September 6 to November 1, 2026. Outside of these periods, you are entitled to a 25% discount on multi-day tickets. You can pick up your Brixen Südtirol Guest Pass directly at your participating accommodation.
Are there special rates for groups?
Yes. Special conditions apply to larger groups of 20 people or more. We recommend booking in advance to allow time to prepare tickets and other services.
Is Plose accessible to people with disabilities?
The Plose and Pfannspitze cable car systems feature ground-level access. The cabins are 82 centimeters wide and, provided conditions are suitable, can be used by guests with reduced mobility. Two accessible parking spaces and a barrier-free restroom are available at the Plose lift's valley station. The restaurant located at the mountain station is also barrier-free.
Can dogs travel on the lifts?
Yes, dogs are allowed on the Plose lifts. They must be kept on a leash in the station areas and while on board the lifts. Please also bring a muzzle and comply with current transport regulations. The cost is 5 euros per dog.
Which emergency number is valid on the Plose?
The single European emergency number is 112. In the event of an accident, it is necessary to secure the scene, administer first aid, and notify emergency services or staff at the nearest facility.
May I return a purchased ticket?
Cancellations and refunds are subject to the terms of the respective ticket. Please check the applicable terms of sale and carriage before purchasing. Adverse weather conditions do not automatically entitle you to a refund.
