Get onto the gondola lift and discover the South Tyrolean mountains! For marvelling, playing, and having fun! Right at the mountain station at 2,050 m there is an info shop with rental station, restaurant, Plose Looping, children’s playground and the start of the family hiking trails.

Hiking or playing? Both are possible on the WoodyWalk. The secret? The family hiking trail, which is suitable for pushchairs, combines great play stations such as the Ploseblitz, the team of oxen, the Woody Flipper and other experiences and leads to one of the most beautiful alpine huts in South Tyrol, the Lodge Rossalm. Don’t forget a change of clothes for the kids, there are also water games!

Tree giants in South Tyrol? Of course! Find them on the circular hiking trail in Lorggen (approx. 2.5 hours). The legendary hiking trail for families leads through forests and over mountain ridges. The gondola lift Pfannspitze takes you up to 2,545 m above sea level, with a mountain panorama that is as huge as it is impressive. A trail with a thousand photo spots!

Mountaincarts
Do you love fun and action? Then the Mountaincarts are the right thing for you. Take the gondola lift up to the mountain station, get on your Mountaincart and race down the 9 km route to the valley station. Maybe even more than once. A mountain cart ride in the hiking area Bressanone/Mount Plose is an absolute holiday highlight.
Plose Looping
Would you like to truly feel your life force pumping through your veins? The Plose Looping, The Eye of the Dolomites, is located directly at the mountain station of the Plose gondola lift. Take courage, buckle up, pedal hard and finally do what is probably the highest loop in the world. The audience will love you! Photos or videos are a must.
Mountain bike
Your biker heart will skip a beat – and not just because the air gets thinner at 2,000 m above sea level. The four fantastic lines in the Bressanone Bike Park are for real adventurers, while the fantastic views of the Dolomites along the easier bike routes inspire those looking for a more leisurely experience. Of course, there are also cool camps and bike tours in the area.

The foundations of our mountain hut date back to the 1950s, and for nearly 75 years, we have been offering shelter and good food to hikers and mountain enthusiasts of all kinds. We are situated directly overlooking the magnificent Isarco Valley at an altitude of 2040 meters above sea level. Our products are of the highest quality and mostly sourced locally. The experience we have gained over the decades has led us to a turning point in our working methods, and starting this winter, we are also offering our guests Roman cuisine and fish dishes.

The Geisler Inn is located next to the Plose gondola lift and can be reached by car, too. Our restaurant is open all day long (tipical Italian and local dishes). We also offer good price overnight stays with breakfast or half pension. Big quiet terrace with great panoramic view of the Dolomites.
