Making a difference together
Nature is close to our hearts, especially in the mountains. That is why, as a mountain lift company, we have launched projects such as Refill your bottle and Take me home, encouraging a more conscious use of resources and responsible waste management in the mountains.
We want to raise awareness and invite you to enjoy your days on the Plose with respect, appreciation, pleasure and mindfulness.
Garbage in the mountains
Take me home
The 4 sculptures by the artists AliPaloma and Mirijam Heiler bring visitors closer to the topic of garbage in the mountains: “Our garbage sculptures refer to the custom of taking your rubbish back down from the mountain and remind us that garbage must be taken home.”
Implemented in cooperation with the South Tyrolean Arts Association.
Precious water
Refill your bottle
Avoid disposable plastic bottles – our good drinking water makes it possible! You may refill your own bottles at the marked drinking water fountains on Mount Plose.
Already since 2019, many alpine huts and lodges on Mount Plose have been using alternatives to plastic water bottles and are happy to fill up your water bottles. If you don’t have your own bottle with you, you can also buy a reusable stainless-steel bottle on site.

Regional and good
Try the many regional products in the restaurants and alpine huts on Mount Plose. You support local producers and promote small cycles. By the way, they taste delicious too!

The forests and pastures on Mount Plose represent a centuries-old cultural landscape. Let’s show respect and appreciation for nature, the people and the animals that live here and care for this landscape. Hikers and mountain bikers enjoy their time in this landscape.
