Summer on the Plose

Hiking in the mountains is great fun. “The route is the goal” may be a valid motto, but you feel more satisfied when you get your personal reward. That is when your heart is at ease, when time does not exist anymore and you just feel your very personal enjoyment. It may be the spectacular view of the most beautiful mountains in the world,

the Dolomites, a mountain hut where you feel welcome, it can also be a downhill drive by mountaincart, some time spent at your favourite WoodyWalk station or listening to the concert of the local music band. There are so many rewards to be found on the Plose … Woodywalk trail is just right for children and grown-ups who want to play all the time. You can let off steam on a number of creative attractions – such as the giant sledge, the wooden oxen or the giant snake. Along the trail you can enjoy great views of the Dolomites in the midst of a fantastic landscape. WoodyWalk takes you for 2,5 km to the mountain inn Rossalm and 2,5km back.

The perfect fun sport for any fitness level and children from 9 to 99 years old! Get your mountaincart and start at 2.050m a.s.l., right next to the mountain station of the gondola lift Plose. Dash down the 9 km into the valley and feel your heart beat. Guided hikes from June until the middle of October Sunrise on Mount Gabler: Every Friday from mid of July until end of August
