Plose round trip

From Brixen to Plose and Lüsen and back.

We start from the square in front of the Bike hotel Golden Crown and leave Brixen eastwards. We cross the rivers Isarco and Rienza and pedal uphill. After approx. 1 km, arrived at a small chapel, we turn right, taking the path no. 5-6 (603 m). We follow the passage along the wide path through the woods until we reach the paved road (about 200 m before the old church of Maria am Sand in Milland). Pedaling uphill briefly we turn left, cross the river and follow the route no. 7-8 and then the no. 7. Moving on from the town of St. Andrä we arrive at the valley station of the chairlift Plose at 1060 m.

The cable car takes us easily to 2050 m. We enjoy the amazing view of the Isarco valley, and then continue along the Panoramic Route of the Dolomites. The route takes us, keeping the view of Kreuzkofel, from the Skihütte to the Enzianhütte, passing by the Schatzerhütte.

Once arrived in the Funes valley, we turn left to Lüsen and from there we head to Brixen.
