Woodywalk
WoodyWalk … this is the ideal family round trip! As the first part of the Dolomites Panorama route this is a stroller suitable path, which offers a breathtaking view of the Peiterkofel, Aferer and Odle. Along the way there are numerous attractive points which invite you to stop and rest for a while. The Rossalm is the perfect place for those looking for strengthening.

Plose road, on the right there is a high level path taking you eastwards crossing flat pasture meadows
Skihütte
The first part of the hike to Skihütte, literally translated “Ski Hut” runs along the Dolomites Panorama path to the junction with the Rossalm. On this track you will already experience a fantastic view of the Peitlerkofel and the Geisler. At the first fork the path changes into an old forest road. In the beginning you will walk on the forest’s border, then into it and when you finally come out you will reach Skihütte.

Course
Starting from the cable car take route N° 17, go south-eastwards to the chapel and eastwards to the Plose road. Take the high level path on the right crossing meadows always continuing eastwards. At the bifurcation follow path n° 17A. With a few ups and downs it will take you just 300 m from the hut. The last part is on the skiing slope.
Plose with panoramic table
The hike to the top of the Plose is worth all the way for it‘s simply fantastic panorama. Once you have reached the Plosehuette, continue for a few hundred metres to Mt. Telegraph where you will find a very special panoramic table. This is a unique viewpoint indicator that informs about the exact position of more than 100 peaks in view.

Course
From the cable car station Kreuztal, northwards, next to the fence, there is path n° 7 which crosses the south-east hillside of Schönjoch and takes you to the same named saddle. Continuing close to the fence it takes you to the Plose hut (2445 m). Just a few hundred meters away there is the Telegraph, the highest point of the Plose massive. From there you can enjoy the spectacular 360° view of the Dolomites and Zillertaler Alps. The panoramic table will help you to identify and locate more than 100 peaks that you can see.

Zirm high level path
The Zirm high level footpath is a beautiful panorama path with a fantastic view of the whole town. From the cable car station Kreuztal the path takes you to the Ochsenalm, crossing the west hillside of the mountain. The well-maintained and comfortable walk-Zirmhöhenweg is particularly suitable as a family hike.

Course
From the mountain station cable there is a well-marked path, first rising, which takes you northwards, on the forest’s border. After a small hut on the west hillside of the Schönjoch you will cross the Trametsch ditch. Continuing on the same path you will cross other ditches and rocks on the west hillside of the Telegraph until you reach the Ochsenalm. The steep hillsides are filled with Alpine roses (end of June until mid July). The view is fantastic! On a good weather day the sight reaches Sarental’ s mountains, the Stubeier and Pfunderer mountains, and even Zillertaler’ s Alps.

Peitlerkofel – Schlüterhütte
Continuation of the Dolomites high level path to the huts on the “Halsl”, rise to the Peiterkofel and crossover to the Schülter hut. Tour with overnight stay in the hut. First stop of the Dolomites high level path ( Brixen – Feltre).
