Hiking on the Plose – Walking holidays

The Plose gondola is only a few minutes’ drive from the town of Brixen / Bressanone and to be easily reached by public transport.

The  Plose gondola will take you to the main point of the alpine hiking area Kreuztal in only 10 minutes. Already on the cable car you can enjoy a magnificent view of Brixen and its surroundings, the onset of the Pusteria valley and Fortezza in the north. Southwards the Isarco valley is at your feet.

Once at the top station of the gondola lift, in Kreuztal, the panorama is even more breathtaking – the Dolomites are at their best!

Fabulous hiking trails on the Plose

Kreutztal is the starting point for hikes towards North, East and South.

Brixen’ s high level path, also called Zirmweg, impresses with its spectacular views of the town and the small villages situated in the north of it.

The panoramic path of the Dolomites offers images of landscapes, which are among the most beautiful in the entire Dolomites.

The climb to the Plose mountain hut on the other hand promises a 360 degrees panorama as it is difficult to find anywhere else in South Tyrol.
