How to arrive
The range of blue and red slopes on the Plose offer an exciting mixture for every average skier, leaving the black slopes for the real experts on skies. The broad slopes are mostly south-facing and skiers may enjoy them as much as the technically more demanding sections out of more than 40 km of slopes. The legendary slope “Trametsch” is an absolute highlight: Starting from the Plose Hut you can enjoy 9 km and 1400 metres of difference in height.
Unforgettable: the panoramic view of the Dolomites is outstanding and makes your day a special experience. With its 9 km RudiRun is one of the longest toboggan runs in the region. It takes you from the top station of the gondola lift Plose to its bottom station. There are also tobogganing trails where you can combine winter hiking with tobogganing fun. If you prefer hiking with or without snow shoes in front of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, then you will hike along some trails that offer the most beautiful spots of these majestic mountains. Close to the valley station, motivated ski instructors are available to accompany youngsters on their first attempts at skiing and show you the fascination of skiing and/or snowboarding. Incidentally, adults can start learning here in the kids’ area, too or alternatively on the final section of the slopes at “Skihütte/Rifugio Sci”. Magic carpets help with the ascent. Skiing safely has to do with speed and speed control. Try to guess your speed by trying out the free speed slope. And then check your real speed. Make sure you always feel safe when skiing. The speed slope is situated next to the chairlift “Schönboden”. The snowpark Funpark Plose is one of the biggest snowpars in the region. It is well known for its features and its scenic landscape of the Dolomites. Beginners as well as established sledging fans will be enthusiastic about the offers on the Plose. RudiRun –9 km of Tobogganing Fun Covering a total of 9 km, the RudiRun is one of the longest tobogganing runs in the region. RudiRun starts at the top station of the gondola lift Plose ant takes you along 9 km until you reach the bottom station. The run is technically easy and offers fun for all the family. The length of the track is remarkable, and a challenge for every slider. Depending on the snow conditions, there may be fast stretches and technically challenging sections. Hike & Toboggan to the Rossalm Especially families with small children will find everything they could wish for on the Rossalm – Kreuztal toboggan run: a gently hiking takes them to a welcoming hut, the Rossalm. The track is approx. 2.5 km long and crosses a sunny landscape with an imposing view of the Dolomites. Walking time approx. 60 min. On the way back the toboggan ride is about 2 km. Toboggan & Hike to Skihütte On the 3 km long trail to Skihütte there are sections to hike and sections to toboggan. At the end you reach Skihütte, where you can take a rest at Berghotel Schlemmer. Walking time back to the gondola lift Plose approx. 60 min.
