Hiking in Alto Adige Südtirol – Walking holidays in Brixen
The gondola lift Plose is only a few minutes’ drive ( 7km) from the town of Brixen / Bressanone and to be easily reached by public transport.
The gondola lift will take you to the main point of the alpine hiking area – the top station – in only 10 minutes. Already on the cable car you can enjoy a magnificent view of Brixen and its surroundings, the onset of the Pusteria valley and Fortezza in the north. Southwards the Isarco valley is at your feet.
Once at the top station of the gondola lift the panorama is even more breathtaking – the Dolomites are at their best! You can either stay here and enjoy your day on the sun terrace while your children climb around in the play ground, or you start right away for your hiking adventure.
Along the many paths you will always find huts or shelters, where you will be pampered with exquisite delicacies from the South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine.
Enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of the Dolomites on one of the idyllic terraces and experience yourself: a summer day on the Plose is unforgettable!
