The Plose is one of the best places for families who love Geocaching in the mountains. If you want to combine a great hiking day with some new caches, then do not miss the Plose.
If Geocaching is new to you, then why not try it out. You will be astonished how much fun it is to locate the caches while hiking in a beautiful landscape. For children and adults geocaching is real fun in the middle of nature. Additionally, it will show you wunderful places outside the mainstream.
Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants walk to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the cache (container) hidden at that Location.
Introduction to Geoaching
For beginners we suggest the search of Woody’s owls along the WoodyWalk. You get the GPS device and the right coordinates at the Infoshop. Experienced geocachers will find a whole range of caches all over the Plose area.

Meet at the top station of the gondola lift Plose at 10.00 am. Duration approx. 2-3 hours, costs 10,00 € per person. Registration at the Tourist Office Brixen.
